The whole evening from a single screen
PubQuiz runs in the browser. The host opens a link, switches to full screen and moves through the quiz by keyboard, mouse or touch. Nothing is installed, and players neither register anywhere nor join with their phones.
Every quiz comes with a printable answer sheet. Each team picks a captain, writes its answers on paper and scores them itself after every round, once the solutions are revealed.

Rounds, topics and jokers
A standard game has 44 questions divided into rounds and topic blocks and takes about an hour and a half. A joker window opens before every topic: a team can bet blind on the whole topic and earn double points for it, up to three times per game.
The per-question timer is optional. The scoring rules and the tie-break procedure are part of the opening screens, so the host does not have to explain anything from memory.

A variety of question types
The quizzes alternate multiple-choice questions, open questions, estimates, anagrams, matching, picture questions and, in the music and film quizzes, audio clips too. Bonus questions wait at the end of the rounds.

A quiz you can play again
Every quiz holds more questions in reserve than are played in one evening. Three variants are prepared for every slot in the game and the line-up is drawn at random, so the same group can play the same quiz repeatedly with a different set of questions.
Six quizzes are on offer today, including a film quiz, a music quiz and several general ones. The sample quiz can be tried for free and without signing in.
